How can I create an account?


The application login screen has options for you to create an account with your email, Facebook, Google, or Apple. If you press ‘Create Account,’ you will be able to create your basic account profile. If you are not signed into Facebook or Google on your device, you will be prompted to put in your login information, which will then open an account for you using that platform.nage Questions" button.




How can I sign in with Facebook or Google?

Tapping ‘Continue with Facebook’ or ‘Continue with Google’ will prompt you to put in your Facebook or Google login information, which will then open an account for you using that platform.




How can I create a stay?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the second option will be ‘Create a Stay.’ Alternatively, on the ‘My Stays’ page, tap the top right icon to create a new stay.




How do I become a host?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the second option will be ‘Become a Host.’




How do I see the stays I’ve uploaded?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the third option will be ‘My Stays.’ Tapping this will take you to all your uploaded stays.




How can I edit my profile information?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the fourth option will be ‘Account.’ Tapping this will bring you to your profile. On the profile screen, tap the three dots on the top right. The third option is to edit your profile.




How can I change my profile picture?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the fourth option will be ‘Account.’ Tapping this will bring you to your profile. On the profile screen, under your profile photo, should be an option to edit your photo. Tapping this will prompt you to either take a new photo, or to upload one from your photo gallery.




How can I change my language?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the fourth option will be ‘Account.’ Tapping this will bring you to your profile. On the profile screen, tap the three dots on the top right, which will bring you to language settings.




How can I change my payment details?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the fourth option will be ‘Account.’ Tapping this will bring you to your profile. On the profile screen, tap the three dots on the top right, which will bring you to your payment details.




How can I delete my account?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the fourth option will be ‘Account.’ Tapping this will bring you to your profile. On the profile screen, tap the three dots on the top right, which will give you an option to delete your account. Please note that deleting your account is final, and the information and login cannot be recovered.




How can I see/edit/delete my stay?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the second option will be ‘Create a Stay.’ On the ‘My Stays’ page, under each stay name, there is a button to view the availability calendar. If you tap the stay itself, it opens to a preview of the stay. Tapping the menu bar on each stay will give you the options to view, edit, or delete your stays. Please note that deleting a stay is final, and the information cannot be recovered.




I’ve started working on my stay, but haven’t finished it yet. How can I get back to it?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the second option will be ‘Create a Stay.’ On the ‘My Stays’ page, tap the menu bar on the stay you’d like to finish, and tap edit. From the Stay Setup Menu, you can change and add any information that you’d like. When you’ve finished editing your stay, press ‘Done’ at the bottom of any of the pages you’ve edited. To publish your stay, go to the availability page and tap ‘Publish My Stay.’




Where can I find the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. The second-to-last option on the menu is to see the Terms and Conditions. Tapping that will bring you to the internet to see the full Terms and Conditions. The other policies are available on our website at Jstay.com.




I forgot my password. How can I retrieve it?


On the sign-in page, tap forgot password. The application will them prompt you to enter your email address. You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password.




Help! I don’t know how to….


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. One of the options is the FAQ, or Frequently Asked Questions. How can I change my Kashrut level?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the fourth option will be ‘Account.’ Tapping this will bring you to your profile. On the profile screen, tap the three dots on the top right, and choose ‘Edit Profile.’ You can now edit all your profile details, including your Kashrut level.




How do I log out of the application?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the final option will be ‘Log Out.’ Please note that logging out of the application is not necessary on a regular basis, and will prevent you from seamlessly opening your Jstay account whenever you open the application.




How can I edit pricing for my stay?


From the main page of the application, tap the menu bar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Application Main Menu. From there, the second option will be ‘Create a Stay.’ On the ‘My Stays’ page, tap the menu bar on the stay that you’re looking to edit. Tap ‘Edit,’ on this menu, and scroll down to pricing. When you get to the pricing page, you’ll have options to change the nightly prices, shabbat prices, and any extra fees you’d like to include.




I have not received my verification email


If you have signed up but have not recieved your verification email please check your junk or spam folder, select NOT SPAM and it should then show up in your inbox.
